FLEMINGTON ACCIDENT GELDING BREAKS ITS NECK (Received May 2, 9.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE. May 2 The prominent jockey T. Lynch was seriously injured at Flemington to-day while schooling the gelding Ortalan over the hurdles. Lynch's skull was fractured when Ortalan fell and broke its neck. It had to be destroyed.
