VICTORIAN FLOODS
WORST DANGER OVER MELBOURNE. May 2 The worst danger in the flooded areas of the Yarra Valley has passed and householders will return to their homes, which on Tuesday were under water. Serious damage has been done to pastures. The flooded Yarra is still causing considerable inconvenience to shipping, and high seas are running along the coast. As a result inter-State steamers are many hours behind schedule.
