DEVONPORT PLUNKET
ANNUAL BRIDGE EVENING The annual bridge evening of the Devonport branch of the Plunket Society, held in the Devonport Masonic Hall yesterday, was well attended by members and representatives from the Northcote and Takapuna branches. On arrival the players were received by the president, Mrs. E. G. Whitley, who wore a frock of mulberry angelskin lace. The Mayor of Devonport, Mr. H. F. W. Meikle, during the evening spoke of the splendid work done in the past by the branch. The eommitteo responsible for the organisation- comprised: —Mrs. E. G. Whitley (president), Mrs. H.
