ONERAHI PRESENTATION
[from our own corhesi'ondknt] \VHAXGAKEI, Wednesday On the occasion of her retirement from the position of postmistress at Oncrahi, Mrs. 1. M. Brown was farewelled at a concert in the Town Hall. Oncrahi, which was crowded. On behalf of the citizens, Mrs. Hodgson presented Mrs. Brown with a purse of sovereigns. In doing so, she expressed her appreciation of Mrs. Brown's invariable courtesy as an official. Mr. A. Weir, chairman, expressed his appreciation of the helpful kindliness given to the public by Mrs. Brown during the 18 years she had been postmistress at Onerahi.
