BODY-LINE DISPUTE
NOTTINGHAM MEETING CARR ASKED TO ATTEND (Received January 9, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 9 The former captain of the Notts County Cricket Club, A. W. Carr, has been invited to attend the general meeting called for January 16 to discuss the body-line bowling controversy. Walden, test match umpire, says bodyline is spoiling the game.
