Jan. 8 The situation in Albania is obscure. Greece has complained of the ill-treatment of her nationals there. Official circles declare that the rebel leader Mouharem Bairaktar was defeated and fled to Yugoslavia, but another report announces his occupation of an old fortress with 2000 men fully equipped and strongly reinforced by deserters from the Government forces. The latter nre said to ho well provided with food by King Zog, who does not desire foreign intervention and is trying to reach an agreement with Bairaktar. A third report says King Zog has been wounded and has gone to Durasso.
