TRADE WITH JAPAN
EXPANSION ADVOCATED NEW ZEALAND VISITOR (Received January 9. 6.45 p.in.) TOKIO. .Tan. 9 Mr. TV. E. Barnard, Labour Member of the New Zealand Parliament for Napier, in an interview with a reporter urged a Japanese trade pact to enhance co-operation and the exchange of commodities.
The visitor stated that New Zealand regards closer relations with Japan as most important, and is finding Japanese goods excellent and cheap; also that New Zealand desires to sell more of her own goods to Japan.
