CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
AUCKLAND GUN CLUB The ~nd Gun Club held its Christina* Clay Bird Shoot on Saturday afternoon. There was a good muster of members and visitors. An excellent afternoon's sport was provided. Results were:—Eva Opener.—D. P. North, G. Peach and D. Ewing shot the possible and divided tho Auckland Championship, for the Hazard Memorial Silver Pheasant and Auckland Gnn Club's irophy.—J. Donnelly. In this event W. Rao and the winner both shot the possible. Minor places were filled by L. HamBey and D. P. North. Christmas Handicap Shoot, for trophy presented by the president, Mr. C. H. Drysdale.—D. Ewing (23 yards), D. P. North (25) and W. Turner (27) tied with a possible of 10. In the shoot-sff Ewing missed his first bird, Turner missed his third. North securing his and winning tho trophy.
