TE AWAMUTU CLUB [BV TKIiECRAPH—OWN OOIIItESPONDENT] TE AWAMUTU, Saturday Tho To Awamutu Polo Club held its annual meeting last evening, the president, Mr. J. G. Wynyard, presiding. It was stated there w»a ft probability of a tournament for the Savilo Cup being played this season in the Auckland Province, and that at least oue southern team had undertaken to come north lo compete. There was a marked revival of interest in polo throughout South Auckland districts. Tho eloction of officers resulted Patron, Mr. W. G. Park (Puahue); president, Mr. J. G. Wynyard (To Awamutu); vice-presi-dents, Messrs. H. do L. Peake (Hairini), J. B. Hutchinson JParawera). M. H. Tims (Man'gapiko), J. Kay (Orakau). F. Taylor (To Awamutu 1, W. G. Kay (Korakonui), D. Dunlop (Wnikeria). S. S. Pveston (Te Awamutu) and P. Itpban (Korakonui); club captain. Mr. R. Kay; secretary and treasurer. Mr. S. A. Empsom (Te Awamutu!; selector, Mr. H. Kay; management, committee, Messrs. J. Kay. R. Kay and S. A. Empson.
