EVELYN FIRTH HOME
The patients of the Evelyn Firth Home were entertained at a Christmas cheer party organised by Madam Annetta Stock. A varied programme waß provided consisting of songs, duets, dancing, instrumental and many other items. Cigarettes were distributed and a Christmas cake was provided by Mr. Jack Mathews. Those taking part were Mrs. Ernest Asher, Mrs. C. D. Simpson, Misses Gladys Stormont, Patricia Boyle, Koanui Simeon, Bernice Allen, Edna Tyson, Barbara Gurr, Joan Ogilivie, Lois O'Callaghan, Anita Heath, Marjorie Leavin, Yvonne Fairweather, Fay Helmbrecht, Kathleen Beck, Jean Partington, Margaret Gurr, Olive Clist, Jean Brobery, Edna Lord, Mavis Spinlev, Noreen Huckstep, Messrs. F. McKnight, I. Bushell, Eric Godley, Masters Cyril Batten, Gayner and Clifford Jackson and Teddy Cameron. The accompanists were Madam Dunn, Mrs. Boyle and Madaih Stock.
