ROCKY NOOK CROQUET
A very enjoyable afternoon was spent on the lawns of the club on "Wednesday. Progressive croquet was played, the winners being:—A: Mrs. Matthews, hidden number, Mrs. Jury; B: Mrs. Rutlcdge, hidden number, Miss Kayes. Tea was served in the pavilion, during which the president (Mrs. Turner), on behalf of the club members, welcomed Mrs. Tongue who returned this week from Australia. Among those present were: —Mesdames Turner, Tongue, Hodgson, Urquhart, Kayes, KeatTey, Matthews, Garland, Wilson, Wakerley, Sinclair, McGill, Butler, Hyde, Page, Rutledge, Wyles, H. Turner, Harris, Dawson, Lewis, Greenwood,' Eadie, Jury, Buckley, Anderson, Misses * McInnes, Faulkner, Kayes and Dixon.
