FRENCH DEFEATS LONG The final of the B grade billiards championship was played in the Vulcan Lane Billiard Parlours, when A. French defeated H. V. Long. The game was closoly contested throughout, each player gaining the advantage by a few points. At. the 400 mark French played with confidence and, having the run of the play, ran to points with the score: French. 500; Long. 461.
