TWO FURTHER TRIALS Two further trials with a view, to selecting the crew to represent Auckland in the Cornwall Cup contest w«re held last evemnpr. The weather was suitable, a fresh, steady breeze prevailing. One trial was held over a triangular course and the otbpr over a w,ind\vnvcj nr>d leewnrd course. Results were:— First Trinl.—Ti-"vie fMarDonald and Donovan). 1- Bettv (Johnston brothers), 2: Toroa (WnddeU !>nd Rekl). 3, v . " ■ • Second Trial.— Wp(cr Beetle (Bait and Ornv). 1; Tvevic fßell-Booth and Pickering). 2; Bettv (Wfvddell and Reid). 3. Bait and Gray bvo now trailed two wins. Two more trials will be held to-morrow. AH races to dnto havo be-on very even and the task for the selectors in choosing the final crew will be difficult.
