ROYAL SQUADRON'S EVENTS CONTEST FOR KEEL YACHTS The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron will hold a general handicap race for keel yachts to-morrow-over a harbour course,, and also .a race for class M, The keel yachts will start at 2.15 p.m.,. and class M at 2.30 p.m. Following, are the entries t— - Keel Yachts.—Thelma, Nga-Toa,.. lorangi, Ida, Rawerie, Victory, Little Jim. AKARANA JUNIOR CLUB The Akarana Junior Yacht Club will hold a race to-morrow, starting at 2.30 p.m. The course is from mark of! clubhouse, thence round compass beacon, thence round- Resolution buoy, back to starting line, twice round. . : The entries aTe: —Blue Nose. Pirate, Seagull. Waiawa, Bandrel, Weona, Nifty, Rakoa, Speedwell. DEVONPORT YACHT CLUB The Devonport Yacht Club will hold a race for- 18ft. and under classes on Sunday. The race will start off the clubhouse, King Edward Parade, at 10 a.m. HERNE BAY SAILING CLUB The Heme Bay Sailing Club will hold races to-morrow for 12ft. and under and 10ft. and under classes, starting at 2 p.m. The course for both races is as, follows: Start off Pousonby Wharf, thence to Curran Street, thence to mark moored west off Watchman, thence to Richmond mark, thence to starting .line; twice round. / The handicaps are:— 12Ft. and under.-—Kandy Kid, scr; Silver Fern, lm; Valarie, 21m; Nancye, 8m; Norena, 10m; Siola, 16m. 10Ft. and under.—Hiker, scr; Kohu. 2m; Heather, 4m; Nipen, 10m; Phar Lap, 18m. MANUKAU YACHT CLUB The Manukau Yacht and Motor-boat Club will hold harbour races for yachts and launches to-morrow over No. 1 course. The yachts will be sent away off the clubhouse 'at 2.30 p.m. and the limit launch will start at 3 p.m. Handicaps are as fo^ows: — Yachts.—Malolo. V MANUKAU CRUISING CLUB t The Manukau Cruising Club will hold harbour races for yachts- and s launches to-mor-row.
