SPIRAL'S SURPRISE COPYIST TAKES SPRINT ONLY ONE FAVOURITE WINS [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday The spring meeting of the Wellington Racing - Club was opened at Trentham to-day in brilliant spring weather and attracted a large attendance. The track was soft and slow. The total isator handled £21,257, against £23,953 on the opening dav last year, a decrease of £2696.
