BIG AMATEUR PROGRAMME AUSTRALIANS APPEAR TO-NIGHT The contests between the visiting Australian amateur boxers and the Auckland champions which boxing enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting will take place at the Town Hall to-night. The Australians have arrived from the South and report themselves as St and confident of success. The Auckland team, which has finished its training, is also confident that it will defeat the visitors, &nd in the meeting of the two teams spectators will see thrilling fighting. Tie Auckland champions are keen to add victories over the Australians to their list of conynests, while the visitors are anxious to justify their reputations as hard and willing fighters in their last contests in the New Zealand ring before they sail homeward-bound. In every one of the eight contests, as well as in the two supporting bouts, patrons will receive full value for their money.
