SERVICE IN EARTHQUAKE
NAPIER HARBOURMASTER RECOGNITION BY THE NAVY [by TELEGRAPH —I'll ESS association] NAPIER, Tuesday Captain White-Parsons, harbourmaster at Napier, has naoeive'd advice that the Lords of the Admiralty have decided to present him with one of the bells of H.M.S. Veronica., as a permanent memento of the help given by him in connection with the passage of the Veronica from the inner harbour at Napier after the earthquake in 1931.
