GIRLS' FRIENDLY SOCIETY
The annual festival service of the Girls' Friendly Socfety was held in St. Matthew's Church last night, when the branches in Auckland were represented by about 120 members and associates. The service was conducted, by Canon J. de G. Galwey, of Christchurch, and tho sermon was preached by the Rev. R. G. Coats? who spoke on the power of women for the uplift of the world.
