LANG LABOUR
AMBITIOUS PROGRAMME OUSTING MR. SCULLIN SYDNEY. Sept. 19 The Lang Labour faction, as the result of its success over Federal Labour candidates in New South Wales at the Federal general election, intends to redouble its efforts to capture the "Australian Labour machine" with the aid of certain successful Victorian Labour candidates. These, it is understood, are prepared to range themselves behind the Lang party so as to gain control of the Federal Labour caucus. The idea is to oust Mr. J. H. Scullin and instal Mr. J. A. Beasley, and later Mr. J. T. Lang, as leader of the official Federal Labour Party.
