WEDDING

DICKEY—TREVETHICK The wedding was celebrated at the Pitt Street Methodist Church yesterday afternoon of Miss Gladys Mary Trevethick, youngest daughter of the Hon. J. Trevethick and Mrs. Trevethick, St. James' Square, Auckland, to Mr. John Morton Dickey, younger son of Mrs. and the late Mr. John Dickey, City Road. The Rev. J. Olpliert officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a graceful frock of Lido blue moss crepe cut on long, slender lines, with short puff sleeves and a high neckline. A picture hat of Lido blue taffeta with stitched brim and the crown covered with blue silk flowers was also worn. She carried a sheaf of blue irises and hyacinths. In attendance upon the bride wm her niece, Miss Joan Wickstead, Wellington, who wore a frock of phlox pink moss crepe cut on slim-fitting lines, with sleeves puffed to the elbow, and the waistline finished with a soft bow. Her picture hat of matching material was trimmed with pink and blue velvet ribbon. She carried a Bheaf oi pink flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. T. Dickey as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk. Mrs. Trevethick received her guests wearing a frock of black georgette and lace under a black marocain coat, with an ermine necklet. Her black tagel hat was trimmed with velvet ribbon ana flowers, and she carried a bouquet or j cyclamen and maidenhair fern. Mrs. Dickey, the bridegroom's mother, was in a black marocain frock patterned in cherry and white, under a black taffeta coat, with quilted puff sleeves. She wore a cherry straw hat and carried a bouquet of flowers to tone. Mrs. Gerald Wickstead, Wellington, wore a leaf-green sand crepe frock and beige straw hat; Mrs. P. Olsen was in an aquamarine blue suit and blue hat to match; Mrs. Frank INfenzies, black marocain suit with white fur necklet and a black straw hat; Miss F. Trevethick, Wellington, black georgette and laco frock and a black picture hat relieved with pink flowers.
