UNITY CLUB'S OFFICERS The balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Unity Tenniß Club disclosed a small credit balance. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. M. O'Callaghan; president, Mr. W. Goadby; vice-presidents, Messrs. D. H. S. Wilson and A. M. Rowe; hon. secretary, Mr. A. P. S. Bell; hon. treasurer, Mr. E. Barnett; management committee, Mesdames T. Lye, B. Stafford, Misses E. James, K. Ferriff, Messrs. D. H. C. Wilson, A. M. Eowe, P. Lye, H. Lewis; hon. auditor, Mr. B. H. Coltman. The president's gold cup was presented to Mrs. Lye. HENDERSON CLUB A sound financial position was revealed by the balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Henderson Tennis Club. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr M. W. Ling; secretary, Mr. G. Holborow; treasurer, Mr. A. Ferguson; club captain, Mr. G. Holborow; vice-cap-tains. Miss M. Butler. Mr. A. TE AROHA CLUB [from our own correspondent] TE AROHA. Friday There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of members of the Te Aroha Tennis Club. The president, Mr. U. A. Kemp, presided. The annual report stated the membership had been well maintained, with 53 ladies and 40 men. The bank overdraft had been reduced to £47. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Dr. W. R. Lawrence; president, Mr. R. A. Kemp; vice-presidenta, Messrs. K. L Somers, J. P. Somers. R. A. Cardy, H. A. Bradley, J. R. W. Magill; club captain, Mr. G. Gilchrist; vice-caf>tain, Mr. L. Mackie; selector, Mr. E. H. Wright, secretary, Mr. D. Kenrick; treasurer, Mr. M. H. Hume; hon. auditor, Mr. A. L. Vickers; committee, Mrs. Adams, Miss McGlashan, Miss McGlaehan. Miss McLaren. Mrs. L. Mackie, Mrs. Painton, Mrs. Wright, Messrs. J. W. Crompton and Dninton. It was decided to open the season on October 27. ST. PETER'S. TAURANGA [by telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA. Friday There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of St. Peter's Lawn Tennis Club. . The report stated that the new bitumen court was ready for play. Tho balancesheet showed the finances to be in a satisfactory condition. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, the Rev. J. W. Smyth: president, Mr. J. H. Graham; vice-presidents, Messrs. 11. Collier and W. Thomas; club captains. Miss J. Bamberry and Mr. W. F. McLauohlnn; secretary, Miss J. Bamberry; treasurer. Miss M. Bamberry; executivu committee, Mrs. Collier, Misses M. Graham and Foxcroft, Messrs. McLauchlan, Harrison and Simmonds. It was decided to open the season on October 17.
