WRESTLING
SONNENBERG AND DETTON Auckland patrons of wrestling will have the opportunity of seeing a former, world's champion in action next Monday evening at the Town Hall, when Gus Sonnenberg. the famous American matman, will be matched with Dean Detton. This will be the first occasion on such a colourful and successful wrestler as Sonnenberg has appeared in Auckland and it is anticipated that great interest will centre in his match with the versatile Detton. Both wrestlers specialise in the butt and flying tackle, two of the most spectacular means of agression in wrestling, and they should be capable of providing an exceptionally attractive and exciting bout.
