PLUNKET WORK
ADDRESS AT BIRKDALE An address on Plunket work was given yesterday afternoon at a largelyattended meeting of women in the Public Hall of Birkdale, by the patron, Mrs. W. H. Parkes, patron of the Auckland branch of tho Plunket Society. Her remarks were supplemented by tho Auckland president, Mrs. J. C. Allan. The gathering, which was a representative one, was presided over by Mrs. W. Williams, who was elected to represent tho Birkdale mothers on the Northcote Plunket committee, Eight annual subscribers were also enrolled from Birkdale.
