WINTER SPORTS

VISITORS AT THE CHATEAU About SO members of the Ruapeliu Ski Club are at present at the Chateau Tongariro. The weather has been very good, but unfortunately there has been very little snow, which is a great disappointment to the more experienced skiers. Arrangements have been made every day for tramps and parties to visit Scoria Flat. In the evening dancing and indoor games occupy most of the time. Later in the week a number of members of the South Island clubs are to arrive and an intensive programme of sporting events and social activities has been arranged.
