THE MINING MARKET MORE ACTIVE CONDITIONS LEADING ISSUES FIRM An active mining market existed on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, when an improved volume of business was recorded. Both Blackwaters and Waihis had sale at higher prices. Blackwaters changed hands 2s 6d dearer at 33s and Waihis hardened 3d on sale at 31s 9d. Gillespie's and Matakis wore done a shade firmer. Goldfiekls, which were very active at Is 3*d and Is 4d, were ljd cheaper, and Brian Borus and Mount Lyells also wero easier.
