TE PUKE CLUB'S SEASON • [from our own correspondent] TE PUKE, Saturday The report presented to the annual meeting of the Pongakawa Lawn Tennis Club stated that the past season had been very successful. It was deoided to affiliate with the Bay of Plenty Lawn Tennis Association, and the subscription was raised by 5s all round The following officers were elected:— President. Mr. W. Wickham; vice-president, Mr. C, Galpin; secretary and treasurer, Mr. D. S. B. Heather; assistant secretary, Mr. A. Walters: working committee. Messrs. R. Drabble, H. Wickham. F Drabble, V. Bonner; ladies' committee, Mesdames R. Drabble, A. Hickson, C. -Galpin, Misses J. Bertner, P. Marsh.
