SANDERS CUP BOATS
AUCKLAND PLANS OF 1932 OTAGO TO SHARE THE COST [BV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] DUNEDIN", Thursday The Otago Yacht and Motor-Boat Association at its meeting last night unanimously decided to pay to tho Auckland Association its share of the cost of tho 1932 Rona plans. In 1932 there was some controversy in regard to plans prepared at Auckland for boats to compete in the Sanders Cup race. Some of those who opposed the plans contended that the Auckland Association was trying to get further away from the principle of tho contest as laid down by Viscount Jellicoe when the 14-footer class was introduced.
