GIFT TO AUCKLAND BOOKS AND EQUIPMENT THE CARNEGIE CORPORATION A set of .art teaching equipment, including about 200 books, has been allocated to the Auckland University College by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, according to a letter received by the college council yesterday from the president of the Carnegie Corporation. The allocation is based on the understanding that the set will be made available, with the assistance of the City Council, to further all aspects of arb teaching in the community. Tli3 first shipment is expected to reach Auckland from the United States shortly.
