STRATOSPHERE FLIGHT
NEW FORM OF BALLOON ANOTHER RUSSIAN ATTEMPT (Received February 4, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 3 "We are convinced that the future of air transport lies in the stratosphere and, undeterred by the disaster to the balloonists in the Sirius, we are planning yet another great stratosphere flight in May," said Professor Prokoffieff in a talk with the Berlin correspondent of the Daily Express by telephone from Moscow. The professor was a member of the crew of the balloon which reached an altitude of 11 \ miles in October. He said a new fqrm of balloon would bo used in the next attompt to avoid a repetition of the Sirius tragedy.
