VISIT TO AUSTRALIA CRUISER SUSSEX FOR TRIP NAVAL EXCHANGES APPROVED (Received February 4, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Feb. 8 The British Government has accepted the invitation of the Commonwealth Government to send cruisers to Melbourne for the centenary celebrations. It welcomes the proposal that the system of exchange of ships with the Australian Navy should at the same time be resumed. | The Sussex has been selected for this duty and Prince George will travel to Australia by that vessel. CAPETOWN PREPARES CITY LAVISHLY DECORATED CRUISER TO MEET LINER CAPETOWN, Feb. 2 The cruiser Dorsetshire will fire a Royal Salute when she meets the liner Carnarvon Castle at sea and again as Prince George steps ashore to commence his tour of South Africa. Capetown is lavishly decorated. There will bo 46 halts in' a 4000-mile tour, which will last six and a-half weeks. The Prince will be introduced to every aspect of South African life.
