EXTERMINATING RABBITS
ACTIVITIES IN WAIKATO : • THE KIWITAHI BOARD [FROM ODE,. OWN CORRESPONDENT] MORRINSVILLE, Friday It was decided at a meeting of the Kiwitahi Rabbit Board last evening to circularise each ratepayer regarding the rabbit-poisoning campaign for the autumn.- The. campaign is to start notlater than February 19, and phosphorisecl pollard is to be used. The board also decided to order 100 gallons of carbon bisulphide to be sold to ratepayers at cost when wanted during April and succeeding months, for exterminating the rabbits that have survived the autumn poisoning campaign;. . ; Ii; was announced that rates struck for the year 1933-34 totalled £316, of which £137 had been paid to date.
