ABNORMAL TIDE
TOWN INUNDATED SCENES IN QUEENSLAND BRISBANE. Jan. IT There were remarkable scenes at Mackav last night when a spring tide.i aided by a fierce wind, inundated parts of the town. The tide was the greatest in the history of the district and flooded the lower reaches of the city*. Homes and" stores near the banks of the Pioneer River wero also inundated. Many cars, which had been left unattended, were marooned.-
