CHARGE OF VAGRANCY
TWO WOMEN BEFORE COURT Z [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Monday Two single women, Priscilla McShane, agejd 33, and Eileen Fernandez, aged 21, appeared before Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court to-day, charged with vagrancy. Evidence was given that the accused, who had been living in Hamilton for a fortnight, had no food or money when arrested. Their conduct had caused neighbours to complain. McShane was sentenced to two years' reformative detention and Fernandez was admitted to probation for two years.
