Y.M.C.A. CLUB'S OFFICERS Tho report presented at the annual meetins of the Y.M.C.A. Lawn Tennis Club showed a satisfactory financial position. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. J. McCoßkrie; president, Mr. E. E. Kitchener; secretary. Mr. \V. 0. Thomson ■ treasurer. Miss E. M. Steele; club captain, Mr. W. H. Fortune; vice-captain, Mr. J, Lanigan; committee, Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Wilson, Misses N. Adams, E. Kitchener, Messrs. J. T. Ormsby, E. Bassett, H. V_, Tregear, J. Wiseman, G. S, Connor; delegates to the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. C. S. Peryer, H. V. Gormack. , It- was decided to hold the official opening on October 14. It was reported that the four grass courts were in excellent condition for tho new season.
