NO DECISION. REACHED t THE HIGH COMMISSIONERSHIP British "Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 12 Referring to the reports that he would shortly become High Commissioner, Mr. S. M. Bruce stated last night that the question of the continuance of the arrangement under which he, as a member of the Federal Ministry in Australia, had been representing the Commonwealth in Britain had been under discussion in view of the fact that various matters ho had been handling in London necessitated his remaining away from Australia for an extended period. He added that no decision had yet been reached. LEAGUE OF NATIONS COUNCIL NOMINATIONS (Received September 13, 10.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 13 It is understood that the Commonwealth Government intends to nominate Mr. Bruce as Australia's representative on the Council of the League of Nations.
