DARING ROBBERY
HAMMER THROUGH WINDOW HATTON GARDEN SENSATION FAMOUS DIAMOND STOLEN By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September 14, 12.45 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13 "Smash and grab" raiders hurled a hammer through a window in Harris and Son's jewellers' establishment in Hatton Garden, and stole the famous "Polar Star" diamond, worth £20,000. The thieves escaped in a motor-car.
