AUCKLAND GIRL INJURED OPERATION IN HOSPITAL [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] "WHANGAREI, Friday A young girl, Joan Hooton, aged 13 years, whose parents reside at. Mount Eden, Auckland, received considerable shock and severe lacerations to the right leg from the knee to the foot as a result of heing bitten by a sheepdog on Motukiore Island, Parua Bay, yesterday afternoon. She was hurried to Whangarei Hospital, where she arrived late test night. This moraine an operation was performed and the patient's condition is satisfactory.
