Aug. 22 A serious riot occurred at Killian Walla, a village in tho Lyallpur district, Punjab. Tho combatants were Kharral Belochis and indigenous tribes. The police were called out and tried to quell tho riot, during which knives and loaded sticks were used. At length tho police were compelled to open fire and they killed five of the rioters. Fifty others were injured.
