BOY CYCLIST INJURED
COLLISION WITH CAR THROWN THROUGH WINDSCREEN A narrow escape from serious injury was experienced by a boy cyclist, Arnold Kilgour, aged 12, when a collision occurred between his bicycle and a motor-car at the intersection of the Howick main road and the Mount Wellington highway yesterday afternoon. The cyclist was thrown through the windscreen, but escaped with minor cuts to the head and elbow.
• The injured boy, who lives at Panmure Road, Penrose, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance. He was able to go home after treatment.
