- IMPROVEMENT IN JULY The returns for last month of the estimated message receipts of, Imperial and International Communications, Limited, show an improvement compared with those of July last year. The index figure for July this yoar is 67.5, compared with C 3.2. In July, 1931, the figuro was 64.7. As tho traffic receipts are considered a good barometer of world trading activity, it is interesting to note that the index figure for last month is well below that of July, 1930, which was 80.8.
