CHINESE SELLING EGGS FOUR MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT [RY TELEGRAPH —rRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Tuesday A young Chinese, Arthur Wong Chang, was sentenced to four months' imprisonment to-day by Mr. E. Pago, S.M., for obtaining credit to tho extent of £3O 18s 9d from Picot Brothers by fraud. It was stated that accused represented that ho was a business man with two shops in tho city and wanted to open an account and was given supplies of eggs valued at over £3O. Ho sold eggs round tho city at prices less than cost. The police added that accused was discharged from prison only last month.
