STEWARD DIES AT SEA
FATALITY ON RANGITANE During the voyage from London of the Rangitane, which berthed yesterday, an assistant steward, Mr. W. Riley, died from natural causes on July 11, two days before the vessel arrived at Panama. He was buried at sea the same day. He was a married man, 33 years of age, and after his death a subscription was taken up among the passengers and crew for his widow, who lives in London. A substantial sum was collected.
