THE COUNTESS OF ORFORD
RETURN FROM ENGLAND The Countess of Orford, who went to England nfter the death of the late Karl of Orford at Manurewa in September, 1031, returned to Auckland by the Rangitano yesterday, accompanied by her daughter, Lady Anno Walpole. The countess has taken up her residence again at Manurewa House. Her plans aro not definite at present, but she proposes to* remain in New Zealand at least until after Christmas.
