CONFIRMATION OF RATES The rates for the year, framed at a previous meeting and published in the :l[khai.d on June 17, were confirmed at a speeia| meeting of the Waitemata County Council yesterday. The loan interest rate is reduced id in the pound ]ii the Takapuna Riding, and id in the pound in the Mairetahi Hiding. Otherwise the general, loan interest and hospital and charitable aid rates remain the same as for lust year in ■all ridings.
