Turrell, to-night that the. sah-age claim for the steamer Golden Harvest, which went ashore at Wellington Heads some time ago, had been settled at £1250, plus legal expenses £SO. The average citizen did not realise the amount of money the dock caused to be spent at the port, said Mr. Turrell. He would say that the docking of the Golden Harvest in Wellington meant at least £15,000 directly or indirectly being spent at the port. •
