NEXT ROYAL SHOW

FIXTURE AT AUCKLAND I INCREASE IN PRIZE MONEY The schedule for the Royal Show to be held in Auckland next February was considered by the council of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association yesterday, when the various stock committees presented reports. The schedule was approved and will be considered by the Royal Agricultural Society at its annual conference next week. The managing-secretary, Mr. W. F. O'Donnell, said tho total prize-money would he about £I2OO, a considerable increase on that provided at the last Royal Show. For instance, the prizemoney for tho cattle classes had been increased by £lO5, the horse classes by £6O, the sheep classes by £lO3, and the pig classes by £4O. A wider classification had been provided in many of the breeds.
