SNOOKER TOURNEY
OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH In tho Auckland snooker championship games played at J. Phillips' room last night, L. Adams and J .Leancy gnve an exciting exhibition. In the first game Adams, by clean potting, gradually forged ahead until Leaney required snookers on the colours. Some very sound snooker play wfts then, witnessed, Adams eventually winning by tho comfortable margin of BG—-37. The *ucond game commenced with very cautious play by both contestants, the scores being fairly oven until well into the game, when Adams again drew away to win by CO to 21. A largo crowd witnessed the match. J. Smith will play L. Kenny this evening.
