TO HOSPITAL NONE OF CASES SERIOUS During the football matches played on Saturday, a number of players received injuries, five being admitted to the Auckland Hospital, while others were treated by the St. John Ambuln a match played at the Onehunga Domain, Donald Mackenzie, aged 22. whose homo is at 22 Dunedin Street, Ponsonby, suffered an injury to the bip. Concussion was received by Ivan Black, aged 17, of 3 Minnie Street, Eden Terrace, who was playing at Grey Lynn Park; Robert Brenner, aged 20, of 26 Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Eden; and Francis Jeffs, of Edmonton Road, Henderson.. Wilfred Howlett, aged 24, of 73 Franklin Road, Ponsonby, received an injury to the back. All were admitted to hospital, but their condition is not sei ious. In a match at the Papakura Domain, Tui Rose, who lives at 25 Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, suffered concussion and was treated by the St. John Ambulance. He later returned to his home.

While he was practising football at the New Lynn ground yesterday morning, Albert White, aged 20, of Koromiko Street, New Lynn, received a dislocated ankle, and was taken by a St. John ambulance to tho hospital. At Whangarel a member of' the Public Services junior team, A. Lowe, of Wrack Street, received a fracture of the ankle and was taken to hospital. At Thames a member of the Ramblers junior team, J. Hewson, received a broken arm, while a member of the Old Boys senior team, Thorn, dislocated his collarbone, and Howard, of the same team, suffered a broken nose. Two men were injured in Rugby football matches at Te Aroha. F. Street, in the match between Hot Springs and City, received a kick on the head and Buffered partial concussion. A Terrier player, V. Cooke, in the Waihou v. Terrier match, received an injury to th«! ankle. Minor accidents in the senior games were frequent.
