INJURED BY FALLS
TWO ELDERLY PERSONS As ho was leaving an evangelical meeting at the Town Hall yesterday afternoon, Mr. Frederick Crosby, aged S3, whoso homo is at 38 King George Avenue, Epsom, slipped and fell, receiving a fracture of tho arm and severe abrasions. He was removed to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance. His condition is not serious. A fracturo of tho right thigh was received by Mrs. Susan Keon, aged 80, who lives at 41 West Street, Newton, when she fell heavily down a flight o£ stops at her home on Saturday afternoon. She was taken by a St. John ambulanco to the hospital, where she wag admitted. Her condition is not regarded as serious.
