PAKURANGA HUNT
MEET AT PAPATOETOE THREE RUNS ENJOYED The Pnkuranga Hunt. met nl Kellv'a corner, Papatoetoe, on Saturday, when there was a fair following. Threo very lone runs were enjoyed, and there wero two kills. Tho first draw was made in Mr. A. Swuf- j field's property. A hare was put un which led the hunt for a good run across the road to Mr. Stonex's farm, whore tho hare doubled back, eventually being lost in some corse. The hunt returned to Mr. Stones' 3 land, and worked through Mr. P. Wvmari'3 property, whero a second haro was put up. j Hounds were taken for a fast run over j Good hunting country, through Mis. Clanham's land, across tho road to Mr, G. Gillard's farm, and through the ' property of Mrs.- Loudon, and Mr. Matthews: After a short run along tho road, a kill was made on Mr. Stonex's farm. A third draw was mado near by and another . kill followed a good run over similar country. The followers included:—The master, Mr. H. Bullock-Webster. on Tally-Ho: the huntsman, Mr. P. H. OUTING IN WAIKATO SEVERAL FALLS OCCUR [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Saturday There was an attendance of between 30 and 40 at the meet of the W_p.ikato Hunt held at Forrest's Cotncr. Hamilton Road. Hunting was over the properties of Messrs. J. Taylor,, J. W. Fisher, ,jM.. Wells, Pentelow, J. Low, Robinson ana Mrs. N. Peake. The ground was heavy and several falls occurred. One horse, Mrs. R. Lyon's Te Taone, ridden by Mr. G. Campbell, fell heavily, and was killed. The rider was not injured.
